more to come . . .

As the current Right Worshipful Master, I'm proud to welcome you to The Lodge of Brotherly Love and to what we consider to be quite a comprehensive web-site. You'll be able to find answers to most questions you could have about the Lodge - when we meet, what we get up to, and how to get here, amongst others. If you can't find an answer, come along and ask any of us in person!

We are one of the younger lodges in Edinburgh, as our history and traditions date from "only" 1948. There are another eight Lodges who meet on Wednesdays, but we are unique within the Province of Edinburgh by meeting solely on "The First Wednesday".

The Brethren and I look forward to greeting you, and having the opportunity of extending our hospitality. Our doors are open to all Masons and we are sure that having been amongst us you will want to return.

Bro. Douglas Heatlie
Right Worshipful Master
The Lodge of Brotherly Love No 1428
